I currently serve at Kings Church in Quispamsis New Brunswick (with locations around Atlantic Canada.) I serve on the church wide preaching team, teach at Kings Academy of Ministry, and lead the Atlantic Kingdom Alliance.
I was born on a tiny island off the coast of Maine, grew up in the dairy capital of the Maritimes, and have spent the vast majority of my adult life and ministry in the largest city in Atlantic Canada.
My wife Kelly and I have 3 more or less grown sons, a very small dog, and a very large cat. When I’m not engaged in ministry you can find me in my shop, the gym, laughing at something, or just hanging out with my wife.
I am a graduate of Kingswood University, an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church, and a commissioned coach through the Wesleyan Coaching Network.
I served as an assistant pastor leading worship, youth ministry, and small groups in a couple of churches before planting Deep Water Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2007 and leading it to become a strong, healthy, and established church. Halfway through my time there I left for 2 years to lead the merger of two churches in Bangor, ME. After my return to Deep Water I led it to become an increasingly effective multi-site, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church that was one of the largest in the city.
